Early Summer Fashion: Trends + Outfit Ideas

Following trends doesn’t mean you have to own the latest Celine bag or get VIP access to companies latest clothing brands! As a teen blogger, I stick to the trends that I genuinely like and can afford. Today, I’m here to help you do the same. Here’s the latest and greatest from the early summer fashions.

Woohoo, summer is finally here! For some, that means kicking back and relaxing in a skimpy bikini by the water but for the rest of us, we’re left surfing the internet rather than the waves for what to wear this season. It looks to me that the cold shoulder trend is here to stay for a bit. Just a tad different than the off the shoulder classic, with a flirty touch to it. On top of that, the season inevitably brings floral galore. On skirts, blouses, dresses, you name it! For the bottoms its loose, comfy boyfriend shorts or something easy and breezy to ensure comfort. On top of that are vibrant hues in all shades. Yellow has made quite the comeback this season and colors like red, blues and pink are screaming summer too. And no longer will we see color limited to the top, on pants, dresses, shoes, and more! Oh, and if it has tassels or pom poms on it, it’s instantly adorable. For shoes, I’ve been seeing mules, slip-ons, comfortable sneakers, and of course, the never fail for three years now- the lace ups. I cannot complain; I personally love and own them all. I am swooning over the vibrancy, and fun that this season’s trends are bringing and how quickly and well retail stores have been adapting to them! Are you?!
