The Perfect $10 Summer Maxi Dress // Field Photoshoot

Do you ever put on a dress and just instantly feel, I don’t know… magical?! Call me crazy, but that is how I feel every time I put on a maxi dress. I’m not sure what it is about them but every time I slip one on I feel as if I am a real life princess.

In May I found this beautiful dress for only $9.99 sitting on a hanger at TJ Maxx and I instantly fell in love. I rushed to the dressing room to try it on and despite it being a tad too long I knew I had to have it. I convinced myself that with a bit of a heel on my feet that I could definitely make it work.

So I did. The lengthy white dress has a bit of embroidery at the top with a few fringe details lining its edge. The backside is almost completely open leaving your back mostly on display. The length worked just fine with my white mules from the brand Kelly&Katie at DSW. I didn’t want anything to take away from the dress itself so my simple gold watch and ‘M’ necklace worked just fine as my only accessories.

Initially, when buying the dress I knew that I wanted to shoot the look in the field at my grandparent’s farm. The pictures turned out just as I had hoped. So bear with me as I share some more of the shots my sister Madison captured for me. This dress truly deserves endless love.
