Mid-Summer Collective Clothing Haul

Hey, everyone and welcome back to styledbymckenz! Today I decided to round-up all of the clothes I’ve picked up this summer between some late birthday shopping, some major sales around the Fourth of July, a bit of thrifting, and some vacation pickups I decided I might as well share my latest clothing picks with you. As you can tell this is going to be a super collective haul, so bear with me, please!

DSW (Kelly&Katie) // DSW (Dirty Laundry) // DSW (Kelly&Katie)

A long while ago DSW was having an amazing clearance sale so when I came across a few pairs of their shoes that I had been swooning over for ages I knew I wasn’t going home empty-handed. After contemplating between which pair to take home, I decided on them all and was so excited that my birthday money had gone to good use. The white mules are perfect for everyday wear, I’ve been wanting a nice pair of blush, velvet heels, and the orange shoes were screaming for me to take them home. I can most definitely say they were worth every penny.

Thrifted (Guess) // Thrifted (Briggs)

A spontaneous trip to a local thrift store lead me to these two pieces. Scored these super oversized mom shorts from one of my favorite denim brands (Guess) for only $2.50. I also picked up these pants for $1. By no means are they adorable but I figured for the price they would be the perfect piece to have on hand for my next decade lookbook and for Homecoming spirit week at my school!

Glick’s (veryJ) // Glick’s (Jodifl) //Maurice’s

While in Wisconsin I picked up a few pieces from my favorite boutique- this super cute embroidered skirt that will make the best statement piece and this adorable peplum dress that can easily be transitioned from season to season. I also found these block heels for only $10 and knew I had to get them + how cute are those little fringies?!

Made by Madison and I // Ann Taylor // TJ Maxx (Kensie Jeans)

This skirt was a little DIY that Madison and I worked on together. When cutting an old pair of overalls so that they were no longer jean length but shorts length we had some left over materials and just like that I have a new denim skirt, woohoo! This little sweater-sweatshirt-lounging thing (whatever it’s called) is super oversized and the softest thing ever so despite it being three sizes too big I knew I had to have it + my mom has one of these and loves it too. After being on the lookout for a medium wash denim jacket for literally ever my mom picked one up for me and surprised me with it once I got home from Wisconsin. How sweet was that?! I cannot get over how adorable it is.

What pieces have you been picking up lately?! Be sure to let me know in the comments below along with any other questions, comments, or requests you may have for me. Wishing you all many good deals in the future! With love, McKenz

    1. Tori, you should totally check the thrift stores! When you least expect it you’ll find something perfect! Thrifting takes patience but feels so rewarding when you find a hidden treasure. I love denim too which is why I am so excited for its huge comeback! Thanks so much for stopping by xox
