Styling My Current Wardrobe Essential 5 Ways – Turtlenecks!

I’d be lying if I said that turtlenecks weren’t my biggest wardrobe essential these last few months. I’ve always been a fan of this chic, modest article of clothing but lately my love for the piece has grown tremendously. Today I’m sharing with you five of my favorite ways to style turtlenecks this season. I’m a huge fan of them all and I hope you are too!

#1) The Classics – I’m all about wearing a turtleneck tucked into my favorite pair of jeans. It’s simple, fast, and super easy- not to mention it looks perfect with a pair of flats for an outfit that can easily be dressed up or down.

#2) With A Cute Graphic – This 1969 graphic sweatshirt from Gap is hands down one of my favorite pieces and looks so fun paired with a chunky knit turtleneck underneath. I’m sticking with a pair of classic black booties and my faux glasses for that school girl vibe.

#3) Pattern Mixing Layers – Pattern mixing is definitely something that has always been a little out of my comfort zone. This striped turtleneck is the perfect base layer to wear before throwing on a denim jacket. To layer up on the outerwear for an unexpected pairing, I’m throwing on this buffalo plaid vest to complete the look.

#4) The Denim Mini – Quite possibly my favorite way to wear a denim skirt is with a fitted turtleneck tucked into it! I think that it looks so chic and put together; I went with this maroon striped top and a coordinating pair of booties. My favorite fuzzy white cardigan was the perfect way to tie this look together.

#5) The Winter Neutrals –  I cannot be the only one who misses wearing white jeans! To keep things light and airy without straying back to my spring wardrobe essential, I’m pairing this off-white turtleneck with my go-to faux fur vest. For a few pops of gold, I accessorized with my favorite crossbody bag, a longer necklace, and some fun go-go boots.
