February 2018 Pinterest Outfit Recreations

The weather this past week has quickly reminded me why I hate dressing for the days of February and March. It’s snowing on Saturday and sunny and fifty the next day. The weather is unpredictable and so are my outfit choices, if we’re keeping things real around here. So bare with me; these outfits may or may not suit your climate at the moment. Today I’m back with one of my favorite posts of the month… my Pinterest Outfit Recreations, where I go through and pick out a few of my favorite pins and use them as inspiration to create new outfits.

For this first look, I’m styling the awesome plaid dress pants that I shared with you in Friday’s haul. I scored these for an amazing deal at a local thrift store and knew they would be the perfect, unique piece to feature today. I wasn’t in love with the shoe choice in this picture so I swapped the Vans out for a classic black mule and went for a fitted top to make the flare of the pants even more dramatic.

My weekend attire has been consisting of a chunky black sweater and a pair of distressed jeans. To keep things fun I’m wearing my faux glasses and a big ole belt + I’m throwing on some of my favorite statement booties to spice things up a bit. This is the perfect look for those days when you’re struggling to find something to wear.

For that warmer, hint of spring days, I think this outfit is perfect. A cute tee paired with some distressed denim is the perfect go-to look. I’m throwing on a pair of classic white Vans to complete my look and accessorized lightly with some of my essential jewelry pieces.

I received this jacket from Shop at Goldie’s a few months ago and have been dying to style it some more. I paired it with a simple mock neck tee and a pair of high-waisted jeans. For shoes, I went with a classic black heeled bootie and decided to spice things up with a  few accessories. I added a neck scarf to complete the look.
