My Current Favorite Shoe + 3 Outfit Ideas

It’s no secret that the spotlight shoe of the year so far has been the ‘Jaylen’ wedge from Steve Madden. When doing a little back to school shopping at DSW I stumbled across a Cognac pair that was my size and only $42, which was significantly cheaper than the original price. I was ecstatic to finally jump on the blogger bandwagon with this pair of shoes and have been obsessed ever since. Originally, I was worried that they might be a little tall to wear on an everyday basis to school + out and about, but I haven’t had any problems so far! They are surprisingly very comfortable and much easier to walk in because of the thick wedge than other heels. With such a versatile, comfortable shoe that can easily be worn throughout the various seasons, I decided to share with you how I’ll be styling these beauties from Summer to Fall with a few outfit ideas! Hello, my beautiful readers and welcome back to styledbymckenz. Today I’m here to wrap up all the craziness that the second week of school has brought + share my outfits of the week (one of my favorites to date) with you all! Because to me, it doesn’t feel right to let blogging take the back burner. Therefore, I’m going back to my old ways of using Sunday as my time to […]

Oh my gosh; I cannot even begin to explain how happy I am to be sitting down to talk to you all this afternoon. Never in my blogging career have I been this inconsistent with posting unintentionally and I feel absolutely awful about it. I have missed you all so much. I won’t go into too much detail about my week (that’ll be tomorrow lol) but despite the craziness, I managed to take some pictures of my makeup each day this week and wanted to share them with you. Many of you may know that I like to share a Makeup Of The Week whenever I get the chance to on Saturdays so you all can get a glimpse as to how I like to get ready each morning. Again this week, I chose to not focus on one single palette this week so I could experiment with some newer products and use whatever makeup I felt like. Enough chatting, let’s get on with the looks. Monday- for the face-  Nivea Men’s Shave Balm Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation Rimmel Stay Matte Powder Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Anastasia Contour Kit- banana powder, contour Elf Blush Quad- ‘Peach’Wet N Wild Highlighter- ‘Precious […]
